Lawn Patio Barn's Cast Stone Shipping:
All shipments are freight prepaid unless other arrangements are agreed to by Lawn Patio Barn. We have negotiated very favorable freight rates with several carriers, and, at our discretion, select the best method and carrier for shipping. All merchandise is carefully inspected prior to packaging and again when given to the carrier. At that point the carrier assumes responsibility for safe delivery. When delivered, it is the obligation of the recipient to inspect the condition of the shipment for signs of damage. All apparent shipping damage or shortages must be noted on the delivery receipt. The purchaser must report any shipping damage/shortage to the carrier within five days. Lawn Patio Barn should be contacted for filing and handling of the claim. Many shipments require a lift gate equipped trailer, and notification of the delivery. This information should be conveyed to Lawn Patio Barn at the time of ordering. Some of our larger pieces require a forklift for unloading and it is the responsibility of the customer receiving the product to arrange for such equipment.

Cast Stone: We make every effort to keep our lead-times to a minimum. For most orders a lead-time of 2-3 weeks from order date to ship date can be expected. This is because our pieces need 10 days curing time after casting to achieve the strength to withstand shipping conditions. On large quantity orders, or those requiring custom mold work, our lead-time is typically 4-6 weeks.
Large Truck Skid Shipping:
(Products shipped by large truck will have the Designation "LT" on the order form) this may also apply to orders involving a large quantity of items. Due to size, quantity, or weight restrictions some packages must be shipped by Large Truck. Delivery time for large truck shipping may range from 6 - 15 business days.
Freight deliveries are scheduled on week days only. When the driver arrives with the shipment it is the customers responsibility to assist or make arrangements for another person to assist in offloading your shipment. (Most shipments can be unloaded or "hand-bombed" directly off the back deck of the truck.) If the customer unable to assist or requires lift-gate service the shipping company can provide a lift-gate truck which will transport the packages, unassisted from the back deck of the truck to the curbside for a $75.00 fee. If your customer requires LIFT-GATE service you will need to contact our office (636-294-5083) before their shipment is scheduled to arrive. We will contact the freight company and authorize them to provide a lift-gate truck to deliver the shipment. You will then be billed $75.00 by Lawn Patio Barn for the "Lift-Gate Service. The dispatcher will contact you directly by phone to set up a delivery date - at this time they should confirm with the dispatcher that lift-gate service will be provided. It is important to note that the driver is not responsible for unloading or moving items into the yard, garage or home, or up or down steps. Large Truck Orders cannot be canceled after shipment. If a freight delivery is refused, freight charges to and from the delivery address will be removed from the refund balance.
**VERY IMPORTANT**It is customer's responsibility to check that all PACKAGES are accounted for and product and/or carton is free of damage before signing delivery receipt - specific product damage must be notated. If inspection cannot be done in a reasonable amount of time the customer must notate "SUBJECT TO INSPECTION" before signing for the waybill. If concealed damage is discovered, customer must notify Lawn Patio Barn of specific damage within 24 hours. If the above notation or specific damage is not stated on the waybill, we will be unable to replace or otherwise warranty the order.
Change of Address Fee:
Please ensure that the shipping address that you provide contains accurate information, including zip code and telephone number. In the event a shipment is sent to an incorrect address due to an error at Lawn Patio Barn, we will have the shipment re-routed at our expense. However, if the address we received on the order form is incorrect, then all fees billed by UPS for re-direction or re-shipment of the package will be passed on to the you. UPS charges an address correction fee of $10.00 per package. If the shipment cannot be re-routed and it lands back at our warehouse UPS charges a return shipping fee which is the same as the original shipping fee.
Returns on Furniture
We do accept returns and will refund to you the full purchase price of your order less the original shipping provided the product is returned to us prepaid within 15 days, undamaged, unused and in its original packaging.
We warranty our products
All cast stone orders are custom made with your choice of color so therefore will not accept returns. Lawn Patio Barn will, at its discretion and expense, replace any parts or products that are found defective within 30 days of purchase. Lawn Patio Barn must be notified by email with supporting pictures or proof of defect of any parts or items claimed to be defective. We offer a 10-year limited warranty on our cast stone products. The warranty is limited to manufacturers defects and does not cover damage from mishandling, collision or other misuse. In the event of a warranty claim, Lawn Patio Barn's liability shall be limited to the value of the pieces covered. Lawn Patio Barn shall have the option to replace such covered pieces if it chooses. In many cases of minor damage, repair of the item can be effective. We are able to send a patch kit, with simple instructions, allowing many damaged pieces to be repaired.
